Collecting Elves

Hello mortal men. Like Sam, I have a special fascination about the Eldar, and they were the first good models I started to collect. And I still love them '' lol.

Here is a review on my Elf armies, together with their allies.

The first Elves thet I collected were the Silvan elves of Wilderland, ie the wood elves of Mirkwood and Lorien. I bought a box of 24, together with Haldir and a pack of Haldir's Elves. Together with Legolas, they formed a good hunting party. Wood elves are superb, they've got high courage, high fight, throwing daggers and superb archery, however.... their defence is totally CRAP!!!!!!!!!!! This led me to start collecting the ... High Elves. Now, these are the best. Apart from most of the bonuses of the wood Elves, they have great defense. Usually, I use them in a shield wall, with the High Elves in front and the wood Elves with spears supporting. And who'm did I get to lead them?? None but Gil-galad the High King of the High Elves, and his side-kick Elrond Halfelven. Gil-galad is mighty, especially with that Aeglos of his. Then I bought Elrond's sons: Elladan and Elrohir which are extremely good value for ther points. They were followed by more high elves, and then Glorfindel. He ranks second best to Gil-galad.
